This one came to me in a flash of clarity.

    Workspace additions:

I now have a plant and a desk. The desk is already a mess. I hope the plant can survive with little-to-no sunlight. I'll try to keep the blinds open a bit more for it. And see! I really did research fish for last week's comic!

This comic took me nearly three times longer than usual to color. It's hard to see at this size but the colors on the fish in the middle are mostly accurate to the real things. "Why," you ask? Because that's the level of quality we go for here at Load World Comics. Also, I must be losing my mind.

Would you buy a Load book?
I'm considering publishing a new book. But I'm still not sure if I actually want to sink my time and money into it. This book would have a very limited run--only a couple hundred copies. I still have a boxes full of Pope & Pig comic books left from four years ago and I don't want to get stuck like that again.

But anyway let's say I offered this new Load collection for sale online. Let's say it was full-color and contained almost a year's worth of strips--about 48-50 selected from the past two years. Say it would cost about $15 plus $5 for shipping. Would you buy this? Seriously, would you actually buy it? Would you buy more than one?

    Tell me what you think!

    I can't have anything nice
This loveseat flew into my office from the 1970's and here's the result:
    Cats on couch
It was usurped by cats! Consarn it! But they're seven today so I'll let them get away with it.

    New Workspace
I've spent the last couple weekends slowly setting up the other room as my little office/studio space. It's pretty plain right now but I thought I'd share how it's coming along.

Things of note include pieces of a future project on the bulletin board, a signed photo of Angela Lansbury, a postcard from Cynthia Plaster Caster, and a newspaper ad for colon hydrotherapy. As you can see I don't require elaborate furniture. And at the moment most of the walls are bare. That will change!

    And very important: Bookshelves!

Comics and art on the shelves I would like to point out: Junji Ito's "Uzumaki," Hideshi Hino horror books, adult romance manga by Moyoco Anno, the complete "Akira," Arcudi & Mahnke's "The Mask" series, "Great Comic Cats" (published 1981, so nothing newer than early "Garfield"), and collections of art by R. Crumb, Michael Manning, Coop, HR Giger, and Tex Avery.

    Art upload
I've just added both some recent and some old-ish art to my site. For instance:

This fine portrait of a cartoony Cynthia Plaster Caster.

This piece I did for Camp Lickalotta.

    And silly cats like these.

    See the rest YONDER.

Hey, it's still Sunday my time, so this comic isn't late! Hooray me! And what's this? A second Morning Fucker comic in one month?? Zounds. By the way, that hot little vixen's name is Honey Bunny. I introduced her seven weeks ago (go check). I think she's swell.
